Kris Kiser, President & CEO of the TurfMutt Foundation, recently appeared on an episode of the popular Pets Rock with Doc Reno & Stephen C podcast. It’s a show about current animal news and topics. Kiser appeared to share information about why fall is a good time to plant trees in your yard.
New plantings do best when they are planted in fall so they can establish their root system prior to the harsh winter weather. Putting trees in the ground in fall also ensures you – and your pets – will be able to enjoy the new planting as soon as spring rolls around.
